When I first founded this campaign, we wanted to build a coalition of supporters and activists into one unified voice to make meaningful change and Khashayar’s activist approach to his photography and his deep personal passion for the Caspian Sea makes him the perfect advocate for the real change we desperately need.

Khashayar’s work speaks for itself and his recent award-winning photography along the Iranian coast perfectly encapsulates the human and cultural challenges that are faced as the life blood of our region is polluted. Growing up along the shores of the Caspian Sea, he deeply and profoundly understands the crisis we are facing and we are moved by his drive to help save this beautiful ecosystem.
He has inspired me and countless others to see the profound impact this crisis is having across all the littoral states. We are excited to work closely with Khashayar over the coming months as we grow the campaign and support his ongoing projects.”

Khashayar Javanmardi: “I am thrilled to have become an ambassador for a cause lies at the heart of my personal and professional life. The Save the Caspian Sea campaign is the first unified movement for highlighting the collapse of the beautiful and ancient ecosystem. I am inspired to join the cause and bring to light one of the most under reported environmental catastrophe’s in the modern world. I look forward to collaborating on projects and working with Vadim and the team on exciting initiatives to save the Caspian Sea.”
